"Crowns in my purse I have, and goods at home, and so am come abroad to see the world."

The Taming of the Shrew  (I.ii.57-58)

THE STAGE IS SET...THE CHARACTERS ARE READY

We invite you to join us on our memorable visit to England and Wales 400 years after the passing of The Bard.

THE STAGE

BEST OF ENGLAND IN 14 DAYS

                                      Act I

Our play begins in the city of Bath, known for its ancient Roman hot springs. Side trips to Glastonbury and Wells will require set changes.

                                      Act II

Enchanting Stow-on-the-Wold in the Cotswolds is

the backdrop for Act II. This is Shakespeare country with thatched roofed houses, prehistoric stone rings, and once opulent manor houses.

                                     Act III

The curtain opens on the Welsh seaside town of Conwy. Its 13th-century English fortifications and medieval walls stand in stark contrast to the humble village. Beautiful gardens, stately castles and manor houses, and working farms add visual interest.

                                                                                                                           Act IV

The Lake District town of Keswick is the setting for the next act.  The plot digresses as a cruise on the Derwentwater and a "vacation day on your vacation" permits the audience to ponder over the plot's direction... or, do laundry.

                                      Act V

Scene I opens to the splendor of Roman ruins at Hadrian's Wall and Vindolanda while Scene II focuses on York, its Gothic Minster, medieval cobblestone streets and walls, and half-timbered buildings.

                                     Act VI

With suspense building, the play concludes in London. Celebration and revelry take place as the 400th anniversary of the Bard's passing is observed.

Tonight Only: The two lead actors will               regale patrons with extended scenes                                          in London.
